Where,
I= 12amps ,P = 5000W,pf=0.9
We Know
V (V) = P(W) ÷ I(A) x pf
V(V) = 5000÷ 12 x 0.9
V (V) = 370.37
Voltage = 370.37 V
For Example 03
If an three phase Induction motor takes 10amp and real power 10000W at 0.92 (lag) power factor . Calculate the line to line voltage of the motor.
Answer
Where,
I= 10amps ,P = 10000W,pf=0.92
We Know
V (V) = P(W) ÷ √3 x I(A) x pf
V(V) = 10000÷ √3 x 10 x 0.92
V (V) = 627.55
Voltage = 627.55 V
